CLEARKETAMINE THERAPY

Ketamine Therapy for Pasco and Hernando County Residents

Patients from Pasco and Hernando travel south to our clinic in north Tampa, mostly on the Suncoast Parkway or I-75. Routes, county figures, crisis lines, and a guide for each community.

Clear Ketamine Therapy has one clinic, in north Tampa, south of Pasco and Hernando counties. Residents of Trinity, New Port Richey and Spring Hill usually come south on the tolled Suncoast Parkway; Zephyrhills residents use I-75 and I-275. Road distances run from about 19 to 36 miles. Consultations and check-ins can be done by telehealth from home.

Two corridors south

West Pasco and Hernando patients mostly travel on the Suncoast Parkway. From Trinity it is a short hop of about 19 road miles in total, from New Port Richey about 25 via State Road 54, and from Spring Hill about 36, with roughly 27 of those on the parkway itself. The parkway is a toll road.

East Pasco works through the interstates. The measured route from Zephyrhills follows County Road 54 west, then I-75 and I-275 south, about 29 miles without tolls.

County figures

CDC PLACES estimates that 20.2 in every 100 Pasco County adults have been told they have a depressive disorder and that 18.0 in every 100 have frequent mental distress. For Hernando County the estimates are 21.3 and 19.1, the highest county figures among those we cover.

Among the communities on this site, New Port Richey has the highest estimated distress level, at 20.3 in every 100 adults, and Zephyrhills is close behind at 20.0. These are modeled estimates, not diagnoses, but they point to a real need north of Tampa.

Crisis lines for Pasco and Hernando

BayCare runs Mobile Response Teams for both counties and lists them as available 24/7:

  • Pasco County: (727) 372-4357
  • Hernando County: (352) 467-6529
  • Anywhere: call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.

Planning for the distance

A treatment session itself lasts roughly an hour and a half to two hours, the drive comes on top of that, and a responsible adult must take you home. You should not drive until the following day. From Spring Hill or Zephyrhills, that is a substantial commitment across a course of sessions, so we talk about it openly during the consultation.

Everything that does not need you in the room, including the consultation, planning calls and check-ins, can happen over telehealth, provided you are in Florida when you join the call.

Before your first session you receive the recommended plan and its full cost in writing, so you can weigh the travel against everything else before committing. If the trips turn out to be harder than expected partway through, tell us; plans are reviewed as treatment goes on, and we would always rather adjust together than have you stop without a conversation.

How should we reach you?
Best time to reach you (optional)

In person or by telehealth

You can be seen both ways. Consultations, planning conversations, and follow-up visits happen in person at our Tampa clinic or by telehealth — whichever works better for you.

Ketamine itself is always administered in person, at the clinic, with a clinician monitoring you throughout. We do not prescribe ketamine for use at home.

Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.

How telehealth works here

  • Telehealth is available to patients who are physically located in Florida, and the clinicians providing that care hold active Florida licenses.
  • Your location is confirmed at the start of every telehealth visit. If you are not in Florida, the visit does not go ahead.
  • Ketamine is never prescribed for you to take at home. It is administered only at our clinic, in person, with a clinician monitoring you throughout — a telehealth visit does not change that.
  • You are seen in person before any treatment session, because every session happens at the clinic.
  • A telehealth visit never guarantees that treatment will be offered, any more than an in-person evaluation does.
  • Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988, or call 911.

Common questions

No. Our only clinic is at 3971 Moran Rd Ste 101-2, Tampa, FL 33618, in Hillsborough County. People living in Pasco and Hernando can hold consultations and check-ins over telehealth, then travel to Tampa only when a treatment session is booked.
