Ketamine Therapy Near Spring Hill, FL: Our Tampa Clinic
Spring Hill is about 28 miles from our Tampa clinic in a straight line and about 36 by road, nearly all of it on the Suncoast Parkway.

Spring Hill, in Hernando County, is about 36 road miles from Clear Ketamine Therapy's only clinic, in north Tampa. Roughly 27 of those miles are on the tolled Suncoast Parkway, which runs almost door to door before Ehrlich Road. Because each trip is a long one, Spring Hill residents can do the consultation and check-ins by telehealth and travel only for treatment sessions.

One long road south
Spring Hill is the farthest community on this site and the largest by population. The route we measured is simple: local roads to the Suncoast Parkway, about 27 miles south on the parkway, then Ehrlich Road for the last couple of miles to the clinic.
The parkway is a toll road, so plan for tolls on each round trip. US 19 is a toll-free alternative, though it passes through many more lights and usually takes considerably longer.
Spring Hill and Hernando County figures
CDC PLACES estimates that 21.5 in every 100 Spring Hill adults have heard from a health professional that they have depression, nearly identical to Hernando County's 21.3. About 19.3 in every 100 adults are estimated to have frequent mental distress.
Hernando's county estimate for depression is the highest of the four counties covered on this site. These are model-based numbers, but they point to a real need for mental health care north of Tampa.
Crisis help in Hernando County
BayCare's Mobile Response Team serves Hernando County at (352) 467-6529, and BayCare says the service runs 24/7. You can also reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by call or text, and 911 is for emergencies.
Our clinic is not a crisis service, and our website is not watched outside office hours, so please keep a local number close.
Is the distance workable?
Each session means about 36 miles each way, roughly 90 minutes to two hours at the clinic, and a responsible adult to drive you home. You should not drive until the next day. Across a course of several weeks, that adds up.
We would rather talk about that honestly at the start. During the consultation, ask how sessions are typically spaced, think about who could drive on each date, and tell us about any constraints, so we can judge together whether the plan is realistic.
Keeping the rest on telehealth
From Spring Hill, there is no need to drive to Tampa just to talk: consultations, planning calls and between-session check-ins all work over telehealth while you are in Florida.
Treatment sessions always happen in person, with the injection given at the clinic and a clinician monitoring you for the whole visit. Before the first one, you will have the plan and its full cost in writing.
Request a consultation
A conversation, not a commitment. Please don't include medical records, diagnosis details, or anything urgent — this form is not monitored for emergencies.
In person or by telehealth
You can be seen both ways. Consultations, planning conversations, and follow-up visits happen in person at our Tampa clinic or by telehealth — whichever works better for you.
Ketamine itself is always administered in person, at the clinic, with a clinician monitoring you throughout. We do not prescribe ketamine for use at home.
Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
How telehealth works here
- Telehealth is available to patients who are physically located in Florida, and the clinicians providing that care hold active Florida licenses.
- Your location is confirmed at the start of every telehealth visit. If you are not in Florida, the visit does not go ahead.
- Ketamine is never prescribed for you to take at home. It is administered only at our clinic, in person, with a clinician monitoring you throughout — a telehealth visit does not change that.
- You are seen in person before any treatment session, because every session happens at the clinic.
- A telehealth visit never guarantees that treatment will be offered, any more than an in-person evaluation does.
- Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988, or call 911.
Common questions
About 28 miles in a straight line and about 36 miles by road, almost entirely on the Suncoast Parkway, which is tolled. Our only clinic is at 3971 Moran Rd Ste 101-2, Tampa, FL 33618.
Hernando County has its own BayCare Mobile Response Team at (352) 467-6529, which BayCare says runs 24/7. The 988 Lifeline is there by call or text at any time, and 911 comes first whenever someone is in immediate danger.
For some people it is, for others it is not, and the consultation is where we work that out together. Knowing the likely number and spacing of sessions, and who can drive you, makes the answer much clearer before you commit.
Yes. As long as you are physically in Florida, the consultation can take place over telehealth from your home in Spring Hill, and later planning calls and check-ins can too. Only treatment sessions require coming to the Tampa clinic.
