A clearer path forward starts with an honest conversation

Physician-supervised ketamine therapy for adults in the Tampa Bay area — explained clearly, delivered carefully, and never oversold.

Straight answers first

What ketamine therapy is — and is not

Ketamine is a medication with a long history in anesthesia. In carefully controlled, much lower doses, some clinics — including ours — use a compounded, non-FDA-approved preparation of it as part of a supervised treatment plan for certain mental health conditions and chronic pain syndromes that have not responded well to standard care.

Ketamine therapy is not a first-line treatment, and it does not work for everyone. It is not a take-home psychedelic experience. At Clear Ketamine Therapy, every course of treatment begins with a medical evaluation and happens under direct clinical supervision, because that is the only responsible way to offer it.

  • Administered in a clinical setting with monitoring, never sold for unsupervised use
  • Considered only after a full evaluation of your history and prior treatments
  • One part of a broader care plan — not a replacement for your existing providers

How treatment works here

A careful, three-step process

We keep the path simple and transparent so you always know what comes next. Each step is described in plain language before you agree to anything.

01

Initial evaluation

A clinician reviews your history, prior treatments, medications, and goals. If ketamine therapy is not a good fit, we say so plainly.

02

Personalized plan

Session structure, preparation, and how we measure progress — explained in plain language before you agree to anything.

03

Monitored treatment & follow-up

Supervised sessions in a calm clinical setting, with check-ins after each visit and a plan that adapts to how you respond.

Safety & supervision

Safety and supervision come first

Ketamine can cause short-term side effects — including changes in blood pressure, nausea, and dissociation — and it is not appropriate for people with certain medical or psychiatric histories. The FDA has also warned about risks tied to compounded ketamine products used without adequate safeguards, which is exactly why setting, screening, and monitoring matter.

Before any treatment, our clinical team reviews your health history, current medications, and goals. During treatment, you are monitored. Afterward, we plan follow-up together. If ketamine therapy is not a good fit, we will tell you that plainly.

Getting seen

In person or by telehealth

You can be seen both ways. Consultations, planning conversations, and follow-up visits happen in person at our Wesley Chapel clinic or by telehealth — whichever works better for you.

Ketamine itself is always administered in person, at the clinic, with a clinician monitoring you throughout. We do not prescribe ketamine for use at home.

Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.

The people behind your care

A clinical team, named transparently

We publish names and credentials only after they are verified — never stock bios. These roles are confirmed; individual profiles go live as verification completes.

Medical Director

Oversees clinical protocols, patient selection, and treatment safety.

Psychiatric Lead

Reviews candidacy, coordinates with your existing prescriber, and guides follow-up.

Nursing & Monitoring

Monitors you throughout every treatment session and handles pre- and post-session checks.

Before, during, and after

What treatment looks like, start to finish

Most people want to know the practical details: how to prepare, what a session feels like, how long it takes, and what happens afterward. Our patient guide walks through each stage honestly — including the parts that are uncertain — so you can decide with real information instead of marketing language.

Cost & financing

Honest talk about cost

Ketamine therapy is a significant investment, and insurance coverage varies. We will publish exact pricing only when it is confirmed, and we will always tell you the full cost of a recommended course before you commit to anything. Financing options, when available, will be explained in the same plain terms.

Evidence, cited honestly

How we talk about evidence

Research on ketamine for depression — including treatment-resistant depression — is genuinely promising, and studies continue. Research for other conditions is earlier and less certain. We cite primary sources, distinguish established findings from emerging ones, and never quote success percentages that we cannot stand behind.

Where the evidence is thin, we say so. That honesty is part of how a medical clinic earns trust.

Questions, answered straight

Both are available. Your evaluation, planning conversations, and follow-up check-ins can happen in person at our Wesley Chapel clinic or by telehealth — whichever suits you, and you can switch between them. Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit. Treatment itself is the exception: ketamine is always administered in person, at the clinic, with a clinician monitoring you throughout. We do not prescribe ketamine for use at home.
