Around the bay, not across it
Palm Harbor patients do not need a bridge to reach us. The measured route heads east on Tampa Road, turns onto Forest Lakes Boulevard through Oldsmar, then follows Linebaugh Avenue for almost nine miles into northwest Tampa before a short stretch north on Dale Mabry Highway.
At about 20 miles, it is one of the more manageable trips from Pinellas County, though Tampa Road and Linebaugh both slow down at peak hours.
Palm Harbor's mental health estimates
CDC PLACES puts the share of Palm Harbor adults ever told they have a depressive disorder at 22.0 in every 100, the highest figure among the Pinellas communities we cover and above the county estimate of 20.9. Frequent mental distress is estimated at 17.7 in every 100 adults.
Roughly one adult in five is a lot of people. If you are one of them, and the treatments you have tried have not helped enough, you are in large company, and asking what else is available is a reasonable next step.
What a treatment day looks like from Palm Harbor
Expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours at the clinic: a check-in, a small injection under the skin, monitoring while the medicine takes effect, and recovery time before you leave.
A responsible adult then drives you back around the bay, and the rest of the day is for resting. You should not drive or operate machinery until the next day, so it is wise to keep that evening clear.
The parts you can do from home
The consultation, planning conversations, and follow-up check-ins can all take place by telehealth while you are physically in Florida. That way the drive is reserved for treatment sessions, which always happen at the clinic with a clinician monitoring you.
If you see a psychiatrist, therapist, or family doctor locally, we encourage you to keep them involved. With your written permission we can coordinate with them, and you do not need their referral to contact us first.

A conversation, not a commitment. Please don't include medical records, diagnosis details, or anything urgent — this form is not monitored for emergencies.
In person or by telehealth
You can be seen both ways. Consultations, planning conversations, and follow-up visits happen in person at our Tampa clinic or by telehealth — whichever works better for you.
Ketamine itself is always administered in person, at the clinic, with a clinician monitoring you throughout. We do not prescribe ketamine for use at home.
Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
How telehealth works here
- Telehealth is available to patients who are physically located in Florida, and the clinicians providing that care hold active Florida licenses.
- Your location is confirmed at the start of every telehealth visit. If you are not in Florida, the visit does not go ahead.
- Ketamine is never prescribed for you to take at home. It is administered only at our clinic, in person, with a clinician monitoring you throughout — a telehealth visit does not change that.
- You are seen in person before any treatment session, because every session happens at the clinic.
- A telehealth visit never guarantees that treatment will be offered, any more than an in-person evaluation does.
- Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988, or call 911.
Common questions
No. The fastest route we measured runs around the top of Old Tampa Bay through Oldsmar, using Tampa Road, Forest Lakes Boulevard, Linebaugh Avenue, and Dale Mabry Highway. It is about 20 miles with no tolls.
Our only clinic is at 3971 Moran Rd Ste 101-2, Tampa, FL 33618, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. There is no second site in Pinellas County, and every treatment session takes place at that address.
Yes. The consultation exists to answer that question honestly. If we do not think ketamine therapy is reasonable for you, we will say so, explain why, and, with your permission, share our thinking with the clinicians who already care for you.
Let them know you are considering ketamine therapy, and ask for an up-to-date list of your diagnoses and medications if it is easy to get. With your written permission we can contact them directly, which helps because they see the whole picture of your health.
